We’re here to serve our residents towards a better quality of life.

At Parkville Care Center, our recreation department is available six days a week and continually develops new programs based on resident’s suggestions and preferences. Activities are held on and off the units to assure all residents have the opportunity to participate.

The recreation department provides bilingual programming of variety in the morning, afternoon and evening to enhance and improve resident’s physical, mental, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being through a social and leisurely atmosphere.

Programming can be in a small or large group setting, independent, room-based, on the unit lounges, or even out on the patio. The process starts on admission where staff completes an individualized assessment based on resident needs and gathers their likes and dislikes from the resident themselves or family members based on their past, present and future interests and lifestyle.

En Parkville Care Center, nuestro departamento de recreación está disponible seis días a la semana y desarrolla continuamente nuevos programas basados ​​en las sugerencias y preferencias de los residentes. Las actividades se llevan a cabo dentro y fuera de las unidades para asegurar que todos los residentes tengan la oportunidad de participar.

El departamento de recreación ofrece programación bilingüe de variedad en la mañana, tarde y noche para mejorar el bienestar físico, mental, emocional, social y cognitivo de los residentes a través de un ambiente social y relajado.

La programación puede realizarse en un grupo pequeño o grande, independiente, en la sala, en los salones de la unidad o incluso en el patio. El proceso comienza en la admisión donde el personal completa una evaluación individualizada basada en las necesidades de los residents. Se indentifica sus gustos y disgustos de los propios residentes o miembros de la familia en función de sus intereses y estilo de vida pasados, presentes y futuros.
